RGWC provides a Christ centered environment for women to break the cycle of addiction and become productive members of society. Our center offers a safe space for women to heal, grow, and learn new skills. We are committed to helping women regain their confidence and independence. This is a place where women can find support, guidance, and a sense of community.

At RGWC, we believe in the potential of every woman to transform her life, define her own path, and create a positive impact on the world.

From the CEO:

I became a Christian, Dec. 2nd of 1982 and personally experienced healing from many emotional setbacks and freedom from life controlling substances. God changed my life and I felt compelled to offer that same hope and healing to others. I felt that God wanted to develop a special ministry to the survivors of all types of dysfunction. I was ordained as an Assembly of God minister in April of 2007. The following weekend I spoke at a women’s meeting, after receiving a donation for speaking, God placed it in my heart to deposit the money in an account for the ministry. I needed a name for the ministry and the name Recycling Grace came to mind because of an excerpt from Dr David Seamands’ book, “Healing for Damaged Emotions.” “God’s Recycling Grace takes our infirmities, our damaged emotions, and the garbage of our lives and turns them from curses that cripple into means for growth and instruments to be used in service.” Recycling Grace Ministries had officially begun.

We were given the use of a Church building in March of 2008, which was badly in need of repair. We cleaned, hauled off trash, painted, hired roofers to replace the roof and recruited mission trips that got the building ready. We had our first service May 4th of 2008. We began serving the community by providing support groups. Then expanded by providing things from the food bank, such as: make-up, toilet tissue, personal hygiene products and other items. We began to have women come to us that were homeless or staying in a place that wasn’t healthy or safe. That’s when we embarked on the next phase of this ministry a faith based residential recovery center. Recycling Grace Women’s Center is a Grass Roots Organization that has nine board members. It is a separate entity that was incorporated in 2009. We raised the funds and recruited the labor to build an eight bed shelter. We partner with many organizations, businesses and churches that provide life-skills and support that equips the ladies to cope with life’s disappointments in a healthy manner, restore families, break the cycle of addiction and better able to give back to the community. The Board of Directors each share a commitment to RGWC and meet monthly to ensure that programming, fundraising, governance, and strategic planning support RGWC’s mission, vision, and values.
